What you will do

  • Lead the installation of structural components and aircraft modifications using AHCA drawings, vendor drawings, and STC kits.
  • Manufacture brackets, angles, and other detailed aircraft parts from engineering drawings.
  • Complete metallic and composite modifications, field service repairs, and initial aircraft teardown activities.
  • Support inspections of aircraft and components for compliance with maintenance manuals and Transport Canada standards.
  • Record work orders, defects, documentation, and tool checks in accordance with production and FOD-control procedures.
  • Mentor the Aircraft Structures Apprentice and communicate drawing, installation, quality, and safety issues to supervisors, Quality Assurance, and Engineering.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Transport Canada-approved Aircraft Structures Maintenance program.
  • Valid TCCA AME License.
  • At least three years of experience as a licensed aircraft maintenance technician.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, instructions, and maintenance manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, deadline-management, and safety skills.
  • Must be eligible to enroll in the Canadian Controlled Goods Program through successful screening.

  • Experience maintaining Airbus products in the field.
