Manufacturing Technician II (Medical Devices)

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite service depot work

Salary: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, dependent on education and experience

What you will do

• Troubleshoot customer-returned devices and identify required repairs for non-conformances.
• Set up, debug, and operate mechanical and electrical test equipment.
• Inspect, sort, rework, test, and repair finished medical devices according to engineering instructions.
• Document investigations and complete required service documentation clearly and concisely.
• Monitor quality, productivity, throughput, equipment maintenance, and service depot operations.
• Support troubleshooting, cross-training, workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• GED or high school diploma required.
• One to three years of relevant experience, or an associate degree in electronics or mechanical technology as an equivalent.
• Preferred associate degree in electronics.
• Quality-focused approach, excellent attention to detail, computer literacy, and ability to follow direction after training.
• Teamwork, reliable attendance, punctuality, and willingness to work overtime during emergencies.
• Ability to frequently lift or move materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
