Senior Project Manager (Audiovisual Systems)

Location: Philadelphia, PA, USA; regular construction-site work and frequent local travel to job sites are required.

Salary: $115,000–$136,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own the scope, schedule, cost, quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction of complex audiovisual systems integration projects.
• Coordinate engineering, CAD, programming, installation technicians, subcontractors, clients, account executives, and other stakeholders.
• Manage project communications, meetings, schedules, deliverables, budgets, staffing, billing, and risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead design reviews, field verification, system programming, final checkout, punch-list completion, training, and project turnover.
• Build long-term client relationships, manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and communicate project decisions and updates.
• Mentor other project managers and provide leadership on large, complex, and sensitive projects.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction trades or commercial audiovisual settings.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute and AVIXA CTS certification.
• Deep knowledge of audio/video systems and low-voltage electrical projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, supervisory, delegation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project cost accounting and the ability to work safely on construction sites, including use of PPE and occasional physical work.
