What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of Automation Engineers supporting drug substance manufacturing automation.
• Own automation and process control strategy across Allen Bradley PLCs, Siemens Desigo CC building automation, and Emerson DeltaV process control systems.
• Provide 24x7 operational support, technical guidance, mentoring, resource planning, and team productivity management.
• Support capital, construction, expense, and plant initiatives while collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Development, Technology, EHSS, and Global Engineering.
• Improve automation reliability, analyze failures, implement improvement projects, and maintain OEM service contracts.
• Ensure GMP, validation, audit, cybersecurity, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, including reporting, audit trails, and version control.

Requirements

• Engineering and/or project management experience ranging from 2 to 12 years depending on education level, with at least 2 years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS, Siemens Desigo CC, Allen Bradley PLCs, advanced troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Experience with OPC, Foundation Fieldbus, and Profibus technologies.
• Knowledge of automation system design, programming, installation, lifecycle management, and field instrumentation.
• Ability to apply GMP and GAMP requirements in regulated environments, including 21 CFR Part 11, ASTM 2500, S88, and S95.
• Strong leadership, technical writing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
