Engagement Manager (Insurance & Asset Management)

Location: Hybrid; colleagues are expected to work from their local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week, with travel required as needed for client projects.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day execution of consulting project workstreams and individual modules.
• Develop hypotheses, gather data, build models, analyze findings, and synthesize actionable client insights.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and engage senior executives through presentations and workshops.
• Collaborate with Partners and Principals to deliver high-quality consulting services.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants while fostering an inclusive, collaborative team environment.
• Contribute to thought leadership and innovative insights in insurance consulting.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in top-tier strategy consulting or in life, general, health, reinsurance, or asset management.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a respected academic institution.
• Expertise in strategy, including portfolio growth, distribution, internationalization, or M&A.
• Knowledge of operations or financial effectiveness, including claims management, underwriting, technology integration, risk assessment, capital allocation, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with experience leading teams or workstreams under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel for client projects and contribute to thought leadership.
