Senior Applications Specialist (Territory: NYC to Boston) (Medical Diagnostics)

Location: Fully remote from the United States, covering New York City to Boston, Massachusetts; requires domestic travel at least 95% of the time and onsite customer support and training.

Salary: $40.00–$46.00 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Prepare customers for and complete validation studies for Chemistry and Immunoassay instrumentation.
• Perform instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons.
• Provide onsite and remote phone support for assay and quality-control questions.
• Deliver onsite training on the proper operation of diagnostic instrumentation.
• Collaborate with Key Operators to reinforce training and confirm customer readiness.
• Partner with Technical Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least 3 years of combined experience with laboratory, diagnostic instrumentation, or a related field.
• Advanced understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare industry, particularly laboratory regulatory environments.
• Willingness to work remotely and travel domestically at least 95% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 lb.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical technology.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory practices, quality control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements such as CAP, CLIA, and COLA.
