Senior Data Analyst

Location: London, Salford, or Glasgow, United Kingdom; hybrid with 2 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for Creative Diversity priorities.
• Combine and interrogate production, commissioning, and diversity datasets while improving data quality and consistency.
• Translate complex data into business insights and accessible visualisations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop custom visualisation solutions using Power BI custom visuals, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with the Creative Diversity Operations Lead and data stakeholders to ensure reporting is accurate and fit for purpose.
• Manage delivery against the three-month scope, escalating risks, dependencies, and data-quality issues.

Requirements

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a STEM subject.
• Strong experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards and user-friendly data visualisations.
• Proficiency developing and maintaining Python and SQL scripts for automation and analysis.
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills, including cleaning, consolidating, and structuring datasets.
• Experience developing Power BI custom visuals and adapting HTML and/or JavaScript reporting solutions.
• Availability for a three-month fixed-term assignment and hybrid office attendance in London, Salford, or Glasgow.

Nice to have

• Experience with diversity, representation, audience, or workforce data and Diamond or equivalent monitoring frameworks.
• Experience with TV commissioning, production, or media data and related systems and workflows.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and experience translating business requirements into clear reporting products.
