ETF Trader

Location: Downers Grove, Illinois; hybrid schedule with at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 per year in New York, New York, plus incentive pay; compensation varies by skills, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Execute trades for commodity and equity ETFs under the supervision of senior traders, following SEC and SRO regulations and best execution standards.
• Trade multi-asset orders related to index events, rebalances, reconstitutions, rolls, and creation/redemptions across multiple strategies, technologies, and venues.
• Work with fund managers to provide market intelligence, evaluate implementation considerations, and improve execution outcomes.
• Coordinate with capital markets, investment operations, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders to resolve trading-related issues.
• Monitor developments in market structure, liquidity, regulations, and trading technology.
• Meet with brokers and industry representatives to build relationships and gather market intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in asset management, trading, capital markets, investment operations, portfolio analytics, or a related financial services role.
• Ability to conduct complex analysis, present data clearly, manage multiple priorities, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and close attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg Terminal.
• FINRA Series 57 license required, or the ability to obtain it within the specified timeframe.
