Bus Intelligence Analyst (Data Analytics): Developing dashboards, business metrics, and analytical recommendations from large and complex data sets with an accent on statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and operational insights. Focus on designing experiments, integrating and validating data, testing hypotheses, and translating analysis into decisions for business and operational leaders.
Location: Hybrid in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, United States; candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and work at a FedEx office several times per week. Domestic travel to various worksites is required approximately 10% of the time.

What you will do
- Provide data-driven insights and analytical support for strategic and operational decisions.
- Modify existing business and operational metrics, define new metrics, and build dashboards for corporate and operational needs.
- Design and execute experiments, conduct hypothesis testing, and perform predictive scenario analysis.
- Manage, transform, integrate, and validate large and diverse data sets.
- Conduct advanced statistical and visualization analysis and translate results into actionable recommendations.
- Develop business impact studies and ad-hoc analyses for business leaders and internal customers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics/Econometrics, or a related quantitative field with 3 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with predictive modeling or forecasting, statistical methods, and operational analysis.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying large data sets, validating results, and tuning query performance.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, including t-tests, ANOVA, regression, and design of experiments.
- Experience with Python, R, or SAS; ETL concepts; and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, or d3.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
