Laboratory Technician for a Temporary Position in Histopathology

What you will do

• Cut tissue slides with precision approximately one day per week while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Perform analytical testing using automated immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization technologies.
• Track tests and reagents to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align results, resolve issues, and identify improvements.
• Maintain, install, and control laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• Medical laboratory technician education.
• Hands-on experience with histological techniques, including tissue cutting and staining.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
• Written and spoken Danish and English proficiency required.
• Detail-oriented approach and commitment to high-quality standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with manual and automated immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization methods.
