Finance Director [IM] (MedTech)

What you will do

• Lead business planning, forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and financial performance reviews across the full P&L and balance sheet.
• Provide financial analysis, variance insights, and reporting to Japan commercial leadership and the APAC regional office.
• Improve forecast accuracy and simplify or automate planning, reporting, and closing processes.
• Support the President, CFO, commercial leaders, and functional stakeholders with strategic decisions, resource prioritization, growth opportunities, and financial risk management.
• Lead financial governance, worldwide procedure compliance, local audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop the finance organization by attracting, coaching, retaining, and succession-planning talent across Japan finance.

Requirements

• MBA or relevant finance degree.
• 10–15 years of experience in finance, strategy, or corporate finance roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience resolving complex business problems with structured analytics.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
• Strong project management skills and experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in a global or multinational business is strongly preferred.
