Aerodynamics Engineer Junior

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Design aircraft external shapes and develop aerodynamic models, performance data, handling qualities, and loads for steady and unsteady flight modes.
• Deliver optimized aerodynamic solutions and data to internal and external customers within time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Develop and maintain aerodynamic technologies, prediction methods, specialized tools, and technical competencies.
• Support aircraft aerodynamics and flight performance requirements through component and system integration phases.
• Build technical links with external aerodynamics research communities and multidisciplinary aircraft design and optimization groups.
• Collaborate with structures, loads, stability and control, and mass properties specialists.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.
• No previous aerodynamics experience is required.
• Foundational knowledge of aerospace engineering principles and numerical or computational methods.
• Advanced written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Adaptability and ability to work in collaborative, multidisciplinary, and international environments.

Nice to have

• PhD in Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience with aerodynamic design and characterization, numerical aerodynamic prediction tools, wind tunnel testing, or CAD tools.
• Matlab or Python scripting experience.
• Intermediate or advanced German and/or French.
