Summer Adjunct Faculty (Physics) (On Campus)

Location: On campus in Laredo, Texas, United States; regular attendance and face-to-face interactions are required.

What you will do

• Teach physics courses during the Summer 2026 session, according to the program, course schedule, and student demand.
• Teach up to six semester credit hours within the required discipline.
• Hold office hours and assist students as needed.
• Maintain a regular on-campus attendance schedule and conduct face-to-face interactions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in physics or a closely related discipline.
• At least 18 graduate hours in the relevant discipline.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with the general public, organize and prioritize work, meet pressing timelines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Curriculum vitae, letter of interest, at least three current professional references with full contact information, and unofficial transcripts are required for the application.

Nice to have

• Previous collegiate-level teaching experience.
