Maintenance

Location: Kibbutz Givat Oz, Israel; onsite work, six days per week, with independent transportation required.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair rotating equipment, pumps, vacuum pumps, piping, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on machines and plant equipment.
• Support the technical engineering department with equipment improvements, modifications, and upgrades.
• Complete safety-related repairs as required and perform emergency repairs.
• Use shop machinery and hand tools across electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, millwright, and painting tasks.
• Work with engineers and vendors and guide less-skilled assistants when needed.

Requirements

• Required professional maintenance experience in a process plant and practical hands-on field experience.
• Strong technical and professional understanding, including the ability to read technical and mechanical drawings.
• Required: reading, speaking, and writing Hebrew.
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and perform under pressure.
• Required availability for six-day workweeks and overtime as needed.
• A mechanical practical engineering or technician education is an advantage; a driving license is a significant advantage.
