Mechanical Systems Technician (Oil & Gas)

Location: Ashdod Onshore Terminal, Ashdod, Israel; onsite

hirify.global operates an onshore terminal requiring safe, reliable, and efficient mechanical equipment maintenance.

What you will do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pumps, compressors, blowers, engines, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, equipment history, and vibration analysis.
• Support overhauls, breakdown response, planned shutdowns, commissioning, and start-up of rotating equipment.
• Maintain equipment integrity through vibration monitoring, lubrication management, condition assessment, and precision maintenance.
• Update CMMS work orders, improve maintenance plans and procedures, and provide scheduling feedback.
• Coordinate spare parts, specialized vendors, inspection teams, technicians, engineers, and operations staff.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on rotating equipment maintenance experience, preferably in heavy vehicles, oil and gas, petrochemical, or industrial operations.
• Technical ability with pumps, compressors, engines, hydraulics, mechanical seals, and precision alignment.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings, PIDs, tolerances, and precision maintenance techniques.
• English proficiency sufficient to read, speak, and write is required.
• Technical certification or diploma in mechanics, strong safety awareness, attention to detail, teamwork, and independent working ability.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining gas turbines or micro-turbines.
