Adjunct Instructor - Computer Science and Electrical Engineering

What you will do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and laboratory instruction for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Develop syllabi, select instructional materials, and design exams, quizzes, papers, and other assessments.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Engage students through active learning, discussion, collaboration, hands-on activities, and innovative instructional technologies.
• Provide office hours, academic guidance, mentoring, and student support.
• Follow university policies, academic integrity standards, accreditation requirements, and Campus Security Authority responsibilities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, AI and Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to teach the relevant disciplinary subject matter at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with students, staff, and faculty.

Nice to have

• Doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field.
• Previous collegiate teaching experience.

Culture & Benefits

• Part-time, temporary appointment assigned per semester on an as-needed basis.
• Teaching load of up to six semester credit hours during the 2025–2026 academic year.
