TL;DR
SAP S/4HANA Expert (SAP S/4HANA Finance/SCM/SRM): Developing, maintaining, and optimizing the institute's SAP S/4HANA ERP system with an accent on configuration, in-app customization, user support, and business-process alignment. Focus on designing and testing ERP enhancements, troubleshooting operational issues, supporting system upgrades, and delivering training to end users.
Location: Onsite in Milan, Italy. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to Italy.
Salary: up to €50,000 per year, depending on seniority.

What you will do
- Develop, maintain, test, debug, and optimize the SAP S/4HANA ERP system.
- Collect requirements from departments and deliver tailored ERP applications and enhancements.
- Support Finance, procurement, supply chain, and other administrative and operational processes.
- Troubleshoot ERP issues, assist with upgrades and maintenance, and implement new modules and features.
- Provide technical support to ERP users and deliver training in coordination with the HR Training team.
- Identify process improvements while maintaining data integrity and system security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SCM, and SRM, including configuration and user support.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA configuration and in-app customization.
- Experience with ERP operations, testing, troubleshooting, and SAP S/4HANA applications.
- Full professional proficiency in Italian and excellent command of English are required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- SAP S/4HANA Public or Private Cloud Implementation consultant certification.
- Experience in a similar role at a research institute.
