IT Consultant (SAP ERP)

Location: Italy - Remote; willingness to travel globally up to 25%.

What you will do

• Consult international business areas and Global Process Owners on SAP ERP purchasing and demand planning processes.
• Lead or partially lead IT projects focused on SAP ERP.
• Design, implement, customize, test, and document procurement- and demand-planning solutions.
• Optimize global procurement and demand planning workflows, productivity, and process templates.
• Support daily operations through incident handling, mass data updates, and technical improvements.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance stakeholders on integrated end-to-end processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience and strong SAP ERP process knowledge.
• Experience with Sourcing and Demand Planning using SAP R/3 4.6 and SAP ECC 6.0, including the Automotive Package.
• Knowledge of SAP integration across Material Management, Logistics Execution, and Finance & Controlling, as well as SAP template and roll-out projects.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent working style.
• Fluent English required; willingness to travel globally up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP MDG and SAP Fiori.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, ideally in the Automotive sector.
• German language skills.
