Finance Officer (INT11802)

Location: Manila, Philippines; hybrid work. Philippine nationals only. The role includes travel to project areas and local partner offices.

Salary: PHP 44,951.15–49,446.26 per month

What you will do

• Manage the finances of assigned projects, including partner grants and reporting requirements.
• Encode and reconcile financial transactions, maintain expenditure and grant tracking, and analyze budget variances.
• Prepare budgets and financial reports with program and project colleagues.
• Review partner budgets, expenditures, claims, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain financial records and systems, implement corrective actions, and support audit follow-up.
• Provide financial mentoring and capacity-building support to project partners.

Requirements

• Relevant graduate degree in accountancy or finance.
• At least three years of financial management experience, preferably in a development organization or international NGO.
• Experience with computerized accounting packages and spreadsheets.
• Strong coordination, communication, organizational, analytical, and independent-working skills.
• Ability to meet hirify.global, donor, legal, and statutory requirements in the Philippines.
• Willingness and availability to travel to project areas and local partner offices; applicants must be Philippine nationals.

Nice to have

• Experience with projects funded by the European Union, Global Affairs Canada, or DFAT.
