Appliance Technician - Facilities & Maintenance (Commercial Refrigeration)

Location: Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Hollywood, Florida, United States. On-site facilities and maintenance work is required.

What you will do

• Adjust, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain kitchen equipment and commercial refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, dishwashers, mixers, ovens, stoves, and related equipment.
• Inspect equipment, change water filters, repair minor air and water leaks, and maintain service logbooks.
• Maintain air quality, airflow, and temperature at on-site and off-site facilities; adjust valves and regulate water flow and lubrication oil temperature.
• Safely recharge or evacuate refrigerant using Freon gauges, record readings and repairs, and troubleshoot refrigerated HVAC package units.
• Order parts, maintain inventory, read technical manuals, and prioritize work to minimize interruptions to resort operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of experience with commercial or industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work on high-voltage equipment and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, use hands, reach, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Final candidates must complete Seminole Gaming compliance background checks and obtain gaming licensure before an offer is extended.
