What you will do

• Develop and execute discipline strategies aligned with functional goals and scientific objectives.
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of peptide, new-modality, and small-molecule processes from development through commercialization.
• Develop robust process steps and control strategies as processes scale from laboratory to manufacturing environments.
• Advance process engineering expertise, identify emerging scientific trends, and integrate relevant technologies into functional objectives.
• Assess project risks, develop fallback strategies, and ensure the quality and effectiveness of major project plans.
• Mentor scientists and engineers, communicate scientific results, and influence cross-disciplinary collaborators and senior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with typically 18 years of related experience, master’s degree or PharmD with typically 16 years, or PhD in science or a related field with typically 10 years of experience.
• Experience in process development or technical support of commercial processes, preferably involving peptide processing technologies.
• Demonstrated innovation and a history of new or improved product releases.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external groups and influence colleagues across scientific disciplines.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
