AP Accountant

Location: Ukraine — Remote

hirify.global Transportation develops SaaS, web, mobile, and installed solutions for transportation management, mapping, routing, fleet management, and the global supply chain.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable lifecycle across European entities, including vendor payments, ERP coding, and ledger maintenance.
• Register and manage invoices from multiple channels, identify duplicates, route approvals, and resolve escalations.
• Execute monthly period-end closing activities, including bank reconciliations, travel expense processing, and accruals.
• Collaborate with accounting partners, internal stakeholders, and external auditors to improve Source-to-Pay processes and workflows.

Requirements

• Practical experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance function.
• Professional fluency in English and strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills.
• Experience working with period-end closing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting ERP platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive learning ability, and readiness to master new ERP and financial software.

• Experience in collaborative international accounting teams.
• Academic background in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
