Director, Translational Medicine Clinical Lead-Immunology (Immunology)

Location: Spring House, PA, Cambridge, MA, or La Jolla, CA, United States; hybrid role with up to approximately 10% travel, including trans-Atlantic travel.

Base pay: $199,000–$398,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and execute translational strategies integrating disease and pathway approaches.
• Design and lead early clinical trials, including experimental medicine studies, from protocol development through Proof-of-Concept.
• Lead cross-functional clinical trial teams and deliver milestones within approved timelines and budgets.
• Partner with Translational Sciences on clinical biomarker and patient segmentation strategies.
• Prepare and review protocols, clinical study reports, translational plans, regulatory documents, abstracts, manuscripts, and technical reports.
• Present project results and represent Translational Medicine in development, governance, scientific, and business development activities.

Requirements

• MD or MD/PhD degree required.
• At least 3 years of industry and/or translational research experience required.
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience with clinical or research teams required.
• Experience in immunology and early clinical development trials is strongly preferred.
• Experience with immune cell-based or biologic therapies is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel, including trans-Atlantic travel of up to approximately 10%, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with oncology CAR-T and T-cell engager therapies.
• Strong publication record.
• Experience supporting business development and due diligence.
