Sr. Director, Product Management - Search & Discovery (AI/ML)

Location: Mountain View, USA

Salary: $207,900–$386,100 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a next-generation search and discovery stack.
• Direct day-to-day execution toward unique, high-quality customer search experiences.
• Hire and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers specializing in ML-based systems.
• Review product metrics and develop mechanisms to improve performance visibility and optimization.
• Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in ML product management, including developing and executing strong product visions.
• Experience with search and discovery customer experiences or the search ML stack.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work in a global, fast-paced, data-driven, cross-functional environment.
• Proven business judgment and the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at the executive level.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with close attention to tactical execution.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce.
• Experience launching and scaling consumer-facing products.
• Experience working with multiple teams across different geographies.
• Background in Search ML.
