Senior Product Engineer (Fullstack/AI)

What you will do

• Own product features end-to-end, from domain design and backend services to user interfaces and production observability.
• Build resilient software for high-volume traffic with strong data consistency and system reliability.
• Evolve existing systems into scalable, event-driven distributed architectures.
• Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests, including load and performance simulations.
• Monitor production service health, identify bottlenecks and anomalies, and improve operational reliability.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and documenting engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade applications across the full stack.
• Ability to work across backend and frontend layers and use AI tools for development and problem-solving.
• Strong understanding of race conditions, eventual consistency, idempotency, message brokers, and high-concurrency systems.
• Extensive experience with automated testing and a shift-left security mindset.
• Systematic approach to troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Nice to have

• Experience in the TypeScript ecosystem.
• Experience with banking systems, payment gateways such as Stripe or Adyen, ledger systems, or reconciliation processes.
