Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk (Automotive)

What you will do

• Enter finalized cash receipts and maintain the receivable ledger.
• Prepare accounts payable checks and post vendor invoices promptly.
• Research bad checks, process collections, and respond to receivable and vendor inquiries.
• Maintain sales tax exemption information and 1099 records, including year-end reports.
• Issue purchase orders, maintain office supplies, and process dealer trades.
• Support customer satisfaction and dealership vehicle purchasing and stocking processes.

Requirements

• Experience as an accounts payable or accounts receivable clerk in an automotive dealership is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication of customer needs and concerns to management.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weeknights and weekends.
• Professional appearance.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and motor vehicle records review is required for employment.
