Commercial Education Manager (Surgical Vision)

Location: Based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, Australia; regular domestic and occasional international travel required for up to 50% of the role.

What you will do

• Design and deliver commercial training and capability development programs for the ANZ Surgical Vision team.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Professional Education, and Commercial Excellence to identify capability gaps and implement targeted learning initiatives.
• Lead field-based coaching programs that strengthen selling skills, change behaviours, and improve commercial execution.
• Develop onboarding and talent development frameworks to accelerate new-hire success and support future leadership growth.
• Collaborate with regional and global education teams to share best practices and align ANZ capability strategies.

Requirements

• Degree qualification with significant sales experience and sales training capability in a medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Business acumen and working knowledge of healthcare compliance, industry codes, quality systems, and responsible customer engagement.
• Experience developing and executing training and development plans, with strong communication, organisation, prioritisation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to undertake regular domestic and occasional international travel.
• All applicants must have the right to work in Australia, a reliable car, and a valid driver licence.

Nice to have

• Experience in ophthalmology, surgical, or capital-equipment settings.
