Senior Cloud Security Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and implement security controls for Azure, GCP, AWS, and other cloud platforms in line with industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Assess cloud environments for vulnerabilities, risks, and misconfigurations, then implement remediation strategies.
• Develop and enforce cloud security architectures, policies, standards, and guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines through DevSecOps.
• Monitor cloud systems with SIEM, CSPM, and cloud-native security tools; lead incident response and support forensic investigations.
• Automate infrastructure security, testing, and compliance checks while tracking emerging threats and cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with a strong focus on cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing at least one major cloud platform: Azure, GCP, or AWS; multi-cloud experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, identity and access management, networking, encryption, and security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or similar tools, together with security automation experience.
• Ability to work in the Manila, Philippines location.

Nice to have

• Experience securing AI/ML workloads, data platforms, or modern application architectures.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and cloud-native security solutions.
• Experience with container and Kubernetes security, threat modeling, and secure software design.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
