AI Security Expert (FinTech)

Location: Remote from anywhere in the Philippines; working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Philippines Time.

Salary: PHP 70,000–PHP 120,000 per month, flexible for more experienced candidates.

What you will do

• Design and maintain security controls for AI/ML systems, models, data pipelines, APIs, cloud platforms, and data storage.
• Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing across AI infrastructure and machine learning workflows.
• Monitor AI systems for anomalies, adversarial attacks, model abuse, data poisoning, and unauthorized access.
• Integrate security practices into the AI/ML development lifecycle in collaboration with engineering, DevOps, and data science teams.
• Develop AI security policies and support compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and financial industry standards.
• Investigate AI security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML security, application security, or cloud security.
• Experience securing AI/ML systems, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of encryption, authentication, authorization, secure coding, and AI/ML security risks.
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, and cloud security platforms.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and incident response skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of FinTech security requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Australian, UK, or US-based FinTech companies.
• CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent certification.
