Internship / Thesis in the Field of R&D Industrial Parts Cleaning / Metal Pre-Treatment (Chemical Engineering)

What you will do

• Independently process one or more R&D projects.
• Analyze existing processes and materials for industrial parts cleaning and metal pre-treatment.
• Plan and perform chemical laboratory tests and document the results in detail.
• Characterize and evaluate treated surfaces using corrosion tests, surface tension measurements, UV fluorescence, and other methods.
• Work closely with production and application engineering.
• Transfer newly developed processes to pilot plant scale.

Requirements

• Currently studying chemical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
• Interest in surface technology, corrosion protection, and cleaning.
• Good computer skills, including MS Office.
• Independent working style, analytical skills, initiative, creativity, teamwork, and enjoyment of practical work.
• The internship or thesis must be a mandatory part of the study program and last at least five months.
