Surface Technology Internship in Paints & Coatings Team (d/f/m)

Location: Bremen, Germany. Onsite internship starting as soon as possible for 3 months.

Salary: EUR 750 gross per month.

What you will do

• Support research and development of sustainable, next-generation paint systems.
• Research EHS-compliant primer and paint systems.
• Investigate inhibition concepts and their impact on corrosion protection.
• Define test programs, execute testing, and prepare technical reports.
• Conduct analytical investigations of the physical and chemical properties of coatings.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Paint Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in surface technology, corrosion, paints and coatings, and corrosion inhibition.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-location, international team.
• Negotiation-level English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the analytical evaluation and corrosion assessment of organic coatings.
