Adjunct Instructor - Mathematics

What you will do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lectures, seminars, and laboratory instruction for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design exams, quizzes, papers, and other assessments.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Engage students through active learning, discussion, collaboration, hands-on activities, and innovative teaching technologies.
• Provide office hours, academic support, feedback, and mentoring.
• Follow university policies, academic integrity standards, accreditation requirements, and Campus Security Authority responsibilities.

Requirements

• Earned master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• At least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of mathematics sufficient for undergraduate and graduate-level instruction.
• Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with students, staff, and faculty.

Nice to have

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Previous collegiate-level online teaching experience.
