Fall Adjunct Faculty (Mathematics) (On Campus)

Location: On campus in Laredo, Texas, with a regular schedule of attendance and face-to-face interactions. Some courses may be taught online depending on the program, schedule, and student demand.

What you will do

• Teach up to six semester credit hours of mathematics per semester as assigned.
• Deliver instruction through face-to-face campus interactions and, where applicable, online courses.
• Hold office hours and assist students with their academic needs.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize teaching responsibilities and related activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mathematics or a closely related field.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics or the relevant discipline.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with the general public, work under pressure, maintain confidentiality, and meet deadlines.
• Regular on-campus attendance in Laredo, Texas is required.

Nice to have

• Previous collegiate-level teaching experience.
