Medicaid Rebate Operations Analyst

Location: San Diego, California, United States. The position works on-site at the San Diego headquarters or another company location; remote work may be approved by management based on business requirements.

Salary: $71,614–$95,784–$119,953 per year.

What you will do

• Manage financial and operational drug rebate activities, including quarterly rebate invoices and monthly and quarterly reports.
• Analyze disputed data and collaborate with drug manufacturers to resolve disputes accurately.
• Process billing for more than 800 manufacturers per program and perform pre- and post-invoice quality assurance.
• Review rebate claims, conduct provider and pharmacy audits, and verify products and quantities dispensed.
• Support payment posting, collections, client service agreements, and client requests for reporting and invoicing.
• Act as the main point of contact for states and perform monthly and quarterly financial reconciliation.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 5+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of subject-matter expertise in the relevant area.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn rebate and business intelligence systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, and financial reasoning skills.
• Familiarity with service contracts and contract interpretation.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy services, especially in managed healthcare.
