Sr. Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist (Foreign Currency)

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $70,304-$77,000 per year, plus eligible discretionary bonus targets of 12.5% cash and 12.5% restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Administer complex commercial loan portfolios, including payments, payoffs, advances, and disbursements.
• Service foreign currency loan transactions, coordinating rate resets, funding, settlements, and cross-border instructions.
• Review and process domestic and international wire transfers and internal fund movements.
• Serve as a senior escalation point and mentor for complex servicing issues.
• Process loan modifications, term changes, escrow disbursements, and other servicing updates.
• Perform general ledger clearing and reconciliation, resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and maintain regulatory and internal controls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial loan servicing, loan operations, or commercial lending support involving complex loan structures.
• Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation, servicing workflows, operational controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Ability to analyze issues, exercise sound judgment, resolve complex challenges, and manage multiple priorities.
• Employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify, and offers are contingent on credit, criminal background, and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Experience with foreign currency loan servicing, cross-border settlements, or FX-related transactions.
• Knowledge of Loan IQ, WSO, syndicated loan operations, Salesforce, or nCino.
• Bachelor's degree.
