Location: Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Avenue, Lowell, MA; includes home visits in the Lowell area.
Pay range: $32.50–$36.61 per hour.

What you will do
- Provide primary care, advanced life support, assessments, treatment, and stabilization for patients with acute and chronic conditions in home and institutional settings.
- Conduct scheduled, unscheduled, and urgent home visits under Mobile Integrated Health protocols and medical oversight.
- Perform diagnostics and clinical procedures including lab draws, 12-lead EKGs, ultrasound imaging, wound care, dressings, and telehealth facilitation.
- Collaborate with emergency physicians, attending physicians, case managers, allied health professionals, and public safety personnel to coordinate care and referrals.
- Provide patient and family education, lifestyle, dietary, and medication coaching, and participate in care planning and interdisciplinary rounds.
- Complete training for expanded-scope practice, including advanced wound assessment, urinary catheter management, central line management, and chronic disease management.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Paramedic program and National Registered Paramedic status.
- Massachusetts Certified Paramedic credential.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and competence in safe ambulance operations.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Community Paramedic certification from the International Board of Specialty Certifications must be obtained within one year of employment.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- BCLS, ACLS, or PALS instructor credentials.
- Incident Command System course up to the 200 level.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Three years of community paramedicine or Mobile Integrated Health experience.
