Private Equity Paralegal

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with up to 40% from home and 60% in the office

Global legal practice supporting private equity, secondary transactions, and corporate/M&A matters across multiple sectors.

What you will do

• Support the Private Equity team across private M&A and secondary transactions.
• Produce transaction documentation using precedent forms.
• Assist with signings, condition precedent documents, and post-completion tasks.
• Research information using paper and computerised resources.
• Handle proofreading, filing, photocopying, general administration, and queries from fee earners.
• Build effective working relationships across the department and other legal support teams.

Requirements

• Knowledge of private equity and/or secondary transactions.
• Law degree or equivalent qualification.
• High level of IT literacy with experience in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent research, organisational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, work accurately under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach, initiative, flexibility, and willingness to take on challenging tasks.
