Testing & Validation Analyst I

Location: On-site at the San Diego Headquarters or another company location in the United States; remote work requires management approval based on business requirements.

Salary: $25.33–$41.16 per hour

What you will do

• Test and review benefit, pharmacy, and formulary configurations in pre-production environments.
• Develop additional test scenarios and execute non-standard testing for complex benefit designs.
• Analyze claims adjudication results and identify discrepancies, inaccuracies, anomalies, and unintended consequences.
• Collaborate with clients, configuration analysts, and internal business partners to clarify, document, test, and deliver change requests.
• Approve accurate configuration changes for production and present test claim results to clients when needed.
• Document test plans, results, recommendations, and accuracy scorecards in Salesforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with business software applications and technical platforms including SQL, Oracle-based systems, and Golden 32.
• Ability to run SQL queries and scripts and develop, execute, and document test plans.
• Strong business requirements documentation, problem-solving, written communication, presentation, and client service skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Diego or another company location; domestic travel of up to 5% may be required.
