Quality Engineer Intern (Healthcare)

Location: Northfield, Illinois, United States; 10-week summer program based in a Chicagoland corporate office

Salary: $23.25–$33.75 per hour

What you will do

• Develop test plans to evaluate new and existing medical products.
• Author Device Master Records, Design Controls, protocols, reports, and other quality documentation.
• Investigate customer and sales-force complaints and ensure files are addressed and closed on time.
• Support process improvement activities related to product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to product design and development, including documentation for FDA submissions.
• Support CAPA, SCAR, supplier maintenance, risk analysis, and related quality projects.

Requirements

• Engineering- or science-related major preferred.
• Junior standing in an undergraduate program and a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and capable of solving problems independently.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Design project experience.
• Unrestricted permanent US work authorization required.
