Vice President of Engineering, Investment Data & Analytics

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work arrangement with regular office attendance. Up to 18 remote workdays are available per quarter with manager approval.

Base salary: $245,000–$275,000 USD annually, plus a discretionary annual bonus and potential long-term rewards.

What you will do

• Design and build systems for financial and economic datasets using modern data stacks.
• Develop reliable infrastructure and platform capabilities supporting investment workflows.
• Standardize and maintain investment datasets for reliable consumption.
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering and product organization.
• Apply technology to complex, previously unsolved investment and industry problems.

Requirements

• Deep experience designing, building, and operating modern cloud data platforms at scale.
• Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, Snowflake or equivalent cloud warehouses, DBT, Dagster or Airflow, and Azure data tooling.
• Expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT, data quality, testing, observability, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Experience leading data engineering teams, mentoring senior engineers, and delivering production data and analytics platforms.
• 10+ years of data engineering and software delivery experience preferred.
• 5+ years of technical project leadership experience with product, application, and operations teams.
