Project Engineer - Power System Studies

What you will do

• Lead and participate in complex conceptual and detailed design, execution, development, and support activities across multiple power system projects.
• Develop and present proposals for hirify.global equipment, services, and systems.
• Lead project teams in resolving customer concerns and delivering customer-focused solutions.
• Manage project deliverables within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
• Mentor professional staff and supervise project activities when required.
• Travel domestically and internationally for at least 25% of the time, depending on the focus area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with electric power systems or industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of power system protection and control, integration, automation, communications, system design, studies, information and communication technology, and protective relay applications.
• Demonstrated experience using PSSE, ETAP, and/or RTDS.
• Experience leading and supervising project teams, with strong writing, documentation, speaking, collaboration, and learning skills.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license or equivalent certification.
• Experience in electrical utilities, industrial plants, consulting engineering, or systems integration.
• Project management experience and working knowledge of Vision or similar project management tracking software.
