Local Study Operations Manager TA Head

What you will do

• Lead and develop Local Study Operations Senior Managers, strengthening leadership capabilities, functional expertise, and performance.
• Oversee delivery of the country clinical study portfolio, including scope, timelines, budgets, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide strategic direction on portfolio monitoring, local action plans, issue resolution, resource allocation, and workload distribution.
• Act as the escalation point for complex or systemic study challenges and support country-level risk management.
• Coordinate global study strategy teams, local study teams, and country functional stakeholders.
• Support site selection, study placement decisions, inspection readiness, process standardization, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree with 3 years of clinical execution experience, or a master's degree with 7 years, bachelor's degree with 9 years, associate's degree with 12 years, or high school diploma/GED with 14 years.
• At least 3 years of direct people management or leadership experience involving teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• Experience in life sciences or a medically related field and biopharmaceutical clinical research is preferred.
• Experience managing multiple teams or direct reports and overseeing external clinical research vendors, including CROs, central labs, or imaging vendors.
• Experience with global clinical trials, site engagement, investigator relationships, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Work authorization and employment are tied to the United States location.
