Specialist, Tax and Cost Basis Operations

Location: On site in Westlake, Texas, United States

Salary: USD $29.33–$34.62 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Research and process cost basis adjustments for Retail and Advisor Services clients.
• Reconcile option trades and process return-of-capital and fixed-income cost basis updates.
• Research multiple systems to verify transaction information.
• Process corrections in Gainskeeper, Schwab’s cost basis system.
• Rotate across different functions as business needs arise and collaborate with peers and management.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Operations.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Understanding of macro-based tools and ability to troubleshoot related issues.
• Strong analytical, data entry, decision-making, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures, work under pressure, multitask, and communicate issues effectively.
• BA or BS and Series 7/63 licenses.

Nice to have

• Tax and cost basis experience and knowledge.
• Understanding of financial markets and how individuals interact with them.
