Primary Care Medical Director

Location: Onsite in Tamuning, Guam. Full-time schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Conduct patient histories and physical examinations, prescribe treatment, and provide primary, preventive, occupational, emergency, and episodic care as needed.
• Oversee clinical practices and procedures at the health center.
• Develop annual health center goals, objectives, policies, and clinical and administrative guidelines.
• Drive outcomes across clinical programs, member engagement, and service utilization in partnership with clinical and operations teams.
• Assess prospective physician and provider candidates and support clinical quality and cultural-fit evaluations.
• Teach, train, mentor, and serve as a collaborative physician for advanced practice providers when requested.

Requirements

• Current medical license for each state or jurisdiction of practice and oversight, including Guam as applicable.
• Federal DEA license and any required state narcotic or controlled-substance license.
• Current board certification from ABMS, AMA, or AOA, or board eligibility with a requirement to sit for boards within one year of hire.
• Current CPR certification meeting the specified hands-on evaluation and American Heart Association standards; fully online courses are not accepted.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in family practice, emergency medicine, ambulatory care, or occupational health.
• At least 3 years of healthcare management or leadership experience may be preferred.
