Senior Manager, Business Analysis and Insights (Retail)

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, 601 Respect Dr, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Annual salary: $80,000–$155,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Build systems, tools, and signals for identifying emerging brands and maintaining a high-potential brand pipeline.
• Develop a brand evaluation framework covering growth, demand, differentiation, readiness, and Walmart opportunity.
• Connect sales, search, social, Marketplace, direct-to-consumer, competitive retail, investor, and customer-insight data.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Supplier Excellence, Marketplace, WMC, data, and insights teams to identify whitespace and priority opportunities.
• Prepare business cases, recommendations, and leadership presentations that turn data into action.
• Improve reporting, automation, and operating tools to scale the discovery process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field plus 4 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience without the degree requirement.
• Experience in data analytics, project management, business, or a related area.
• At least 2 years of experience using intermediate Microsoft Office functionality.
• Strong project management, storytelling, prioritization, cross-functional collaboration, and zero-to-one building skills.
• Ability to evaluate brand and customer potential, interpret retail economics, and turn ambiguous signals into recommendations.

• Statistical programming experience.
• Experience supervising associates.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams or projects.
• Master of Business Administration.
• Project Management Professional, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
