What you will do
- Accurately package, deploy, configure, upgrade, and test enterprise applications.
- Translate requirements into unattended application packages using enterprise application engineering toolsets.
- Coordinate subsystem design and integration, including application dependencies and customizations.
- Troubleshoot complex packaging issues and remediate existing packages.
- Lead quality assurance reviews and assign and assist with user acceptance testing.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, process improvements, and support to less experienced staff and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of information technology experience, including 4+ years of application repackaging and 1 year of application deployment experience.
- Advanced experience with Windows Installer (MSI), App-V 5.1, Microsoft Windows platforms, application dependencies, and InstallShield AdminStudio 2011 or newer.
- Experience creating shims and using the Microsoft App-V Sequencer.
- Good scripting knowledge in VBScript, PowerShell, and WiseScript; intermediate knowledge of SCCM 2012.
- 2+ years of application compatibility experience with App-DNA or ChangeBase, plus recent experience with enterprise application engineering toolsets and processes.
- 7+ years of operating systems analysis or engineering experience; consultants must be available on W-2.
