Full Stack Software Developer (C#/.NET)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; onsite position with up to 15% travel.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern C#/.NET web APIs and backend services.
• Develop RESTful APIs with data contracts, validation, authentication, and authorization.
• Implement PostgreSQL data access solutions and optimize relational databases.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and ensure reliable communication between application layers.
• Write unit, integration, and automated tests while supporting cybersecurity and data protection throughout the software lifecycle.
• Document development and deployment practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience building and supporting web applications.
• Strong experience with RESTful web APIs in the .NET ecosystem, relational databases, and PostgreSQL or a comparable database.
• Experience with testing, debugging, code reviews, performance optimization, Git, GitLab or another DevSecOps platform, and Docker or comparable containerization technology.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of War security clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of C#.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger, reusable NPM packages, or component libraries.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
