What you will do

• Lead the strategy, delivery, reliability, and continuous improvement of enterprise data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, and data platform capabilities.
• Own the data and analytics roadmap with Product Management, business stakeholders, architecture, security, infrastructure, and technology teams.
• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of scalable data pipelines, curated data products, reporting solutions, semantic layers, and analytics platforms.
• Drive modernization across cloud data platforms, Power BI, data lakehouse or warehouse patterns, orchestration, automation, metadata management, and self-service analytics.
• Establish delivery, quality, adoption, reliability, service-level, and platform-health metrics while ensuring security, privacy, governance, lineage, and access-control standards.
• Manage budgets, vendors, consulting partners, resources, risks, and team development while partnering with Finance, Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, analytics, data architecture, and enterprise technology delivery.
• 5–7 years of people leadership experience managing managers, technical leads, engineers, BI developers, analysts, administrators, contractors, or offshore teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms, warehouses, lakes or lakehouses, ETL/ELT, orchestration, semantic modeling, APIs, data quality, metadata, lineage, and governed self-service analytics.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, cloud data services, data integration, DevOps or DataOps, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, incident management, and operational support.
• Strong capabilities in data governance, security, privacy, compliance, budgeting, vendor management, roadmap planning, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership.
