Senior Associate, Private Markets Product Development

Location: Boston, United States; hybrid work arrangement. The role provides 18 remote workdays per quarter with manager approval and requires regular office attendance.

Base salary: $120,000–$130,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and a comprehensive total rewards package.

What you will do

• Support all stages of new investment product launches from concept approval through first subscription.
• Develop launch plans, establish dependencies and goals, and help maintain product development and launch pipelines.
• Review legal, marketing, and product documentation from a commercial perspective.
• Gather and evaluate input from colleagues across Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Investor Relations, Private Wealth, Tax, Investments, Operations, and Finance.
• Coordinate with operational leads and external providers to prepare the firm for new product requirements.
• Contribute to product strategy, research and development, planning, prioritization, and launch resources.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional experience in private markets or asset management, focused on structuring, product development, product launch, or related topics.
• Experience implementing multidimensional projects and managing large cross-functional teams.
• Strong familiarity with private equity or the broader private markets landscape.
• Understanding of alternative investment fund mechanics, interdependencies, and investor access structures.
• Experience with business models and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD, MBA, or equivalent experience is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and launching new investment products or solutions within private markets.
• JD or MBA.
