Product Development Senior Specialist

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Learn and support one or two legacy applications, including user navigation, core use cases, and basic architecture.
• Own product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
• Translate business processes and operational needs into requirements for development and delivery.
• Support modernization and cloud migration of business-critical applications into customer-facing platforms and API-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, operations teams, and stakeholders to define APIs, integrations, workflows, and future-state solutions.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, support production issue management, and use AI-powered tools and automation to improve analysis, documentation, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business analytics, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in product ownership, product development, business analysis, software delivery, or a related technology-focused role.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments and managing product backlogs with tools such as Jira.
• Ability to write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Understanding of software development processes, APIs, integrations, application architectures, and data flows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering directly with technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, capital markets, exchange technology, or market infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale modernization programs, cloud migrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with AWS, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Power BI, Figma, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools and agentic workflows such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or AWS Kiro.
• Relevant certifications such as CSPO, CSM, or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
